Biography

 

One of the founder members of Kyndryd Skynyrd, Stuart has only been playing serious Bass guitar for 18 months. Self taught and having the skills to quickly master complex bass lines, he brings, talent, drive, and commitment to one of the finest tribute acts around. His main influence comes from ex-Metallica bassist' Jason Newstead'. Stuart's Bass playing career started, gigging, and recording with welsh Rock band 'Sender', with sessions at Mighty Atom studios Swansea,working with Top Producer 'Joe Gibb'. Favoring the Ibanez 5 string Basses, and Hartke Bass Amps, he brings a unique edge to a highly talented band. Stuart's own music tastes are very diverse from the Skynyrd sound, to bands like Cradle of Filth, HIM, CKY, 69 Eyes, etc...

He says," Playing alongside the other guys in the band is a real buzz. It helps having Gareth, one of my best friends in the band with me, I guess we are just so used to playing together, we just bounce off of each other, and have fun while we are doing it"
