The seed was planted before the term “tribute band” was accepted in the music biz. Myself, a long time Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, and performer of their music since the 70’s, had no idea back then, that the industry would come around to embrace bands, specialising in mimicking musicians and singers to the extent of only playing that group, or singer’s songs at concerts, many to the point of theatrical look a-likes!
